This was a passion project from the Tech academy i attended (Nerdy eye academy). I was paired with a developer and digital marketer from the academy, and we had brainstorming sessions. We had about 4 hours to come up with a problem, and design solution, and for the developers to code the frontend of the screens. So this was never intended to be a full project.

The e-voting app is a product idea inspired by the challenges usually faced in the electoral space, especially in third-world countries like Nigeria where the electioneering process is characterized by elements of corruption and rigging, thuggery and other activities that rids the whole process of credibility and takes the voice of the people from them, instead of them enjoying the dividends of democracy.

This work consists basically of screens designed and prototyped to illustrate only one user journey. Updates on the full UX and UI designs may come in the near future.

Onboarding screens

The Onboarding screens are one of the most important screens of the mobile app for any digital product. As they say, ‘first impression lasts longer’, and usually the strongest.

My goal was to create an outstanding first impression for the product by using the pages to answer their most frequently asked questions of security of their votes, comfort and credibility of the whole election process. This would help them build some trust and confidence in the product, which forms a strong foundation for mass adoption.
